Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for experienced, talented and creative UX Lead for one of our clients, an international game developer that released many top-grossing and award-winning franchises.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Drive UX excellence, create and own the high-level UX vision for the game, thinking holistically of how all the pieces fit together and consistently striving to exceed the highest quality standards of the studio;
Build a talented team of UI/UX designers in a growing game team;
Guide, mentor, inspire and develop them towards excellence;
Own the UX process, integrating product, game design and art needs as well as producing excellent deliverables (such as flow diagrams, wireframes, etc.);
Facilitate the creation of prototypes for internal and external playtesting;
Coordinate and leverage the talents of company’s player research team to inform and validate your designs;
Use analytics to gain insights into player behaviour to help drive discussion, propose improvements, and steer product direction.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Experience designing mobile games UX (a focus on casual, mass-market games is a huge plus);
Ability to understand the audiences of a game and describe their motivations and behaviors in an actionable way for the rest of the team;
Proven experience deciphering market research, persona creation, or tools like empathy canvas, customer journey maps, etc;
Multiple years of experience delivering innovative results in mobile UX design (portfolio of relevant work);
Extensive training in and knowledge of core UX principles, methods and tools;
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a robust UX process across multiple feature sets within a single mobile app;
Demonstrated ability to partner across disciplines in order to achieve excellent UX results;
Strong eye for visual design;
Knowledge of standard UX design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Principle and/or the Adobe suite;
Ability to align around product KPI goals in order to translate them into actionable designs.
Big plus:
Multiple shipped titles;
Be able to balance the user's needs with the business's needs and prescribe a UX strategy that satisfies both;
Able to lead a team through the execution of your vision;
Willing to get your hands dirty and act as an individual contributor as well as managing the team;
Ability to work in Unity is a major plus;
Motion design and animation experience;
Experience working with distributed teams;
Love Match 3 games.
