Environment Concept Artist

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 300+ of us spread over 4 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

As a Concept Artist, you will work with the Artists of Environment team to create memorable environments that exude personality and style. You will use your artistic expertise in color, composition, shape, and visual design to help push our iconic visual style. Your craft expertise in environment design will provide the inspiration which will continue to push the boundaries of UFL.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Art Leads and Directors and Environment team, to review results of modelling part;

• Inspire and develop peers within a team of Artists;

• Support, drive, and evolve Art Direction;

• Collaborate with other art, design and production teams to help accomplish the goals of the product.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience as a Concept Artist in Game Environment;

• Portfolio that demonstrates a range of styles, creativity and craftsmanship;

• Effective collaborator and problem solver able to Collaborate with Environment Artists to find solutions unique challenges;

• Excellent traditional artistic skills with a strong grasp of composition, color theory, perspective, lighting, environment, architectural, graphic design.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Unreal Engine 5;

• Familiarity with 3D software.
